Happy Easter from Wellwood
Wellwood House wishes all our guests and their families a very happy Easter! While the weather has been a little more snowy than usual for this time of year (not ideal for the Easter chicks, or lambs for that matter), that won't stop us celebrating with guests, friends and family. Looking forward to lots of chocolate, good food and maybe some easter egg rolling at Blair...
In the latter part of last year Wellwood House was awarded another certificate of excellence by tripadvisor. Needless to say we are delighted to see that so many guests liked our home and service enough to give us a five star rating. As a listed building there are limits to what can be done, but if we can recreate a sense of this building's original grandeur, then we feel certain our efforts are not wasted.
Summer has well and truly arrived in Pitlochry and the Wellwood House garden is blooming. With the beautiful weather we are having, guests are enjoying walks by the river and watching the salmon jump from the Fish Ladder and the banks of Loch Faskally. Walks are finished with a visit to Eradour Distillery for a wee dram - perfect summer evenings at Pitlochry!

Davy, our gardner , has already cleared the area and has plans to create a feature to impress the Pitlochry In Bloom judges in August. Winning a silver award last year has encouraged us to try even...
Our first year entering into Pitlochry in Bloom and we got an award!

Keeping up the grounds of Wellwood is no mean feat. Wading hunker deep into the pond to clear out the reed bed is not for the feint...
