Winter storms create space for replanting in Wellwood’s gardens.

3, 20 metre tall, Cyprus pines, probably planted when Wellwood was built, were blown over in the winter storms creating an open area for re-planting. Davy, our gardner , has already cleared the area and has plans to create a feature to impress the Pitlochry In Bloom judges in August. Winning a silver award last year has encouraged us to try even harder this year.
